This section contains a brief synopsis of the work in landfill studies that Dr Reynolds has been involved in during his time at WRc plc. Studies were funded by the UK Department of Environment (now called Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Defra) and the Department of Trade and Industry, now called Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR):
